The role of Domestic Agent II at AIT Worldwide Logistics is a position of high visibility and responsibility. This role serves as the primary point of contact for designated customers, managing the entire lifecycle of assigned freight projects. The Domestic Agent II is accountable for customer service quality, shipment tracking, routing, problem resolution, vendor compliance, and ongoing customer interaction. Daily tasks include quoting, tracking, and tracing domestic air and ground freight shipments, routing shipments across multiple transportation modes in accordance with client requirements, and proactive communication with clients and vendors to ensure the smooth transit of freight. This position demands meticulous attention to detail in managing paperwork, labeling, scanning, and processing monthly inventory to maintain operational accuracy. • Associates degree or equivalent
• 3-5 years of freight forwarding experience required, 5-7 years preferred
