The role of Concierge/Front Desk/Security Associate at Village on the Park Onion Creek is an essential position directly involved in shaping the first impression of the community. This part-time role is primarily weekend-focused, with shifts from 7:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. and 2:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m., requiring availability on weekends and holidays to maintain continuous coverage. As a Concierge/Front Desk/Security Associate, you will be the friendly and professional individual responsible for greeting residents, prospective residents, families, guests, and other visitors with warmth and courtesy. You will manage incoming public traffic and inquiries, helping to maintain orderliness and cleanliness in common areas and public spaces. This role involves multitasking duties that include operating phone and paging systems, responding promptly to resident and family needs, assisting with guest and employee meal ticket sales, and supporting maintenance requests. By providing excellent customer service and effective communication, you help to facilitate smooth daily operations and build community trust.
In addition to front desk responsibilities, this role plays a key part in safety and security monitoring. You will assist in tracking incoming and outgoing residents and guests, conducting resident check-ins per established policy, and participating actively as a member of the community's emergency response team. Responsibilities also include monitoring emergency calls, doors, fire alarms, and surveillance efforts to detect and prevent suspicious and criminal behavior. This safety-oriented focus ensures a secure environment, promoting peace of mind for residents, families, and staff alike.
The ideal candidate for this role should maintain a professional appearance and demonstrate good personal hygiene, aligning with company standards. Physical aspects of the job will include periods of standing, working in various environments, lifting up to 40 pounds, and occasionally climbing stairs, lifts, or ladders. Proficiency in PC skills, including Microsoft Office applications, and a solid understanding of HIPAA requirements are also important.
