The Warehouse Runner – Food and Beverage position at ASM Global is a part-time, hourly role that plays a critical role in the daily operations of the food and beverage department across various concession locations within their managed venues. Reporting directly to the Food and Beverage Manager and working closely with the Warehouse Supervisor, this role is essential in ensuring that inventory is properly stocked, rotated, and maintained to meet the high standards required during events. This position carries a wage of $17.00 per hour and offers an excellent opportunity for individuals interested in gaining valuable experience in foodservice operations within entertainment and event settings. The Warehouse Runner is responsible for managing inventory stock by applying the first in, first out (FIFO) method, maintaining cleanliness and organization of warehouse and concession areas, assisting in product receiving and storage, and helping with the setup and teardown of portable concession stands. Additionally, this role assists with monthly inventory tracking, laundering concession uniforms, and cleaning foodservice equipment such as fryers and grills. This role requires physical stamina as it involves standing for long periods during events, moving frequently around the facility, and lifting items up to 50 pounds. Candidates need to be able to work flexible hours that include nights, weekends, and holidays to accommodate the scheduling demands typical in the events and foodservice industry. Effective communication skills, including the ability to receive and follow verbal instructions and operate communication devices like radios or walkie talkies, are critical to performing successfully in this team-oriented environment.
