Employees in this role are expected to operate material handling equipment like pallet riders, order pickers, forklift trucks, reach trucks, and dock stocking equipment proficiently. They will be involved in picking customer orders, assembling and preparing shipments, and verifying order accuracy through cross-checking. The role requires meticulous attention to detail, as employees must maintain high standards of product quality and service, operate warehouse management systems, handle stock replenishment and truck loading, and manage damaged goods processing. Proficiency with warehouse practices such as 5S and the ability to process regulated and non-regulated shipments also form part of the job responsibilities.
