As a Waitstaff member, you will play a crucial role in delivering professional and timely meal service in a warm and hospitable setting. In this role, you will be responsible for taking and delivering food orders, bussing and resetting tables, cleaning and maintaining the dining areas, and completing assigned side tasks. You will be expected to adhere strictly to food safety and sanitation requirements, ensuring a safe, clean, and orderly environment at all times. Interactive duties such as assisting residents with menu choices, responding to questions, and using Sunrise’s ordering systems with accuracy are key components of the job. You will also participate in pre-meal meetings to stay informed about menu offerings and be able to provide general descriptions to residents, enhancing their dining experience. Beyond the immediate dining duties, you may be called upon to perform additional tasks such as washing and sanitizing dishes, sweeping work areas, assisting with light food preparation, and supporting general kitchen operations as needed.   • High school diploma or GED
  • Minimum of one year experience preferred in fine dining hospitality or full-service senior living
  • CPR and First Aid certification maintenance
  • ServeSafe certification maintenance
  • Local Health Department Food Handler Card maintenance
  • Ability to perform duties satisfactorily
  • Compliance with Sunrise and state/provincial regulations
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
  • Willingness to attend required training and meetings
  • Relevant health and safety compliance including PPE usage and fire safety
  • Ability to pass drug and health screenings as required
