The position of Dishwasher at Oakmont of Santa Clarita is a part-time role, ideal for individuals seeking weekend availability. The role involves preparing the dish room and cleaning area before meal services, efficiently transporting dishes to the kitchen, cleaning, sanitizing, and properly storing utensils and dishes to maintain high standards of hygiene and safety. Responsibilities also include assisting with kitchen breakdown and sanitation after meals, responding professionally to resident concerns, and ensuring a safe environment for staff, residents, and guests in compliance with established safety protocols. The Dishwasher plays an essential role in supporting the kitchen and dining operations by collaborating effectively with co-workers and upholding Oakmont Management Group's mission and values. This role offers a pay range of $17.81 to $18.00 per hour and requires individuals who can maintain cleanliness and order in fast-paced settings while demonstrating empathy and teamwork. Candidates should be at least 18 years old, with a preference for those having six months of prior kitchen experience. A high school diploma or equivalent is required, as well as strong communication skills to interact with employees, healthcare professionals, residents, and their families. Additionally, candidates must pass criminal background checks and health screenings, including physical and TB tests.
