The Senior Event Manager role at the Waldorf Astoria Maui is a critical position within the Catering and Events team. This full-time role offers a competitive salary ranging from $85,000 to $100,000 annually, dependent on experience. The successful candidate will manage the complete lifecycle of complex hotel events, ensuring high standards of service and seamless coordination between various departments including Sales, Food and Beverage, and Guest Services. This position requires an individual who thrives in a vibrant, fast-paced environment and demonstrates meticulous attention to detail and a passion for delivering exceptional events. As Senior Event Manager, you will act as the primary liaison for event planners after the sales handover, ensuring client satisfaction from pre-event planning through post-event execution and follow-up. The role demands superior organizational skills to prioritize and plan duties effectively, excellent communication abilities to maintain timely correspondence with internal and external clients, and a strong ability to build lasting client relationships that meet and exceed expectations. You will also play a proactive role in identifying opportunities to increase revenue through upselling and crafting enhanced event experiences. The ideal candidate will have at least two years of hospitality management experience, including supervisory responsibilities for small teams.
