The Full-Time Patient & Family Concierge (PFC) position at UPMC Presbyterian Hospital on the Epilepsy Monitoring Unit, 7F, presents a unique opportunity for individuals interested in starting a healthcare career while making a meaningful difference in patients' lives. This full-time role requires working three 12-hour shifts every week, totaling 36 hours, with responsibilities distributed over rotating shifts, including weekends and holidays. The starting pay rate for this position is $18.00 per hour, with the final rate and title determined by the candidate's experience and education.
As a Patient & Family Concierge, the incumbent serves as a vital support pillar within the unit, contributing to patient satisfaction and operational efficiency. The PFC welcomes and assists patients and visitors, ensuring they feel supported from their arrival through to discharge. Key duties include patient transport, meal delivery, supply stocking, and maintaining a clean and orderly environment. The role is crucial in providing a smooth, compassionate, and supportive environment at all times, reinforcing UPMC's reputation for exceptional healthcare service.
