• be at least 18 years of age
• have a high school diploma or equivalent
• have experience in grocery, restaurant, or related field
• be dependable and reliable
• have an outgoing, friendly behavior with a positive attitude
• have good communication skills
• be able to work a flexible schedule including nights, weekends and holidays
• able to answer phones and take special orders
• must be able to lift/carry product weighing up to 70 lbs
• must be able to stand for up to 4 hours continuously for a total of 8 hours per shift
• perform general housekeeping including cleaning and sanitizing work area
• operate slicer, wrapping and cooking equipment
• assist in equipment maintenance
• adhere to safety, health and Weights and Measures regulations
• achieve and maintain a Food Handlers permit
• be able to work in cooler and freezer temperature environments
