The Kitchen Manager OEM role at Aimbridge Hospitality is pivotal in managing and overseeing day-to-day kitchen operations to ensure seamless, efficient, and sanitary food preparation and kitchen maintenance services. This position is designed for individuals who have a strong background in kitchen stewardship, supervisory experience, and a commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness and safety. The Kitchen Manager OEM is responsible for controlling kitchen inventory, monitoring maintenance of kitchen equipment and areas, and supervising kitchen associates to meet quality service expectations. The role requires coordination with multiple departments including Food & Beverage, Engineering, and Outlets Management to ensure that culinary supplies are well-maintained and the kitchen operates within budgetary constraints. Additionally, the Kitchen Manager OEM ensures compliance with all regulatory requirements including food safety, alcohol awareness, CPR, and first aid certifications. This role actively engages in training and educating staff on safety protocols, manages chemical usage, handles purchasing, and minimizes losses through effective cost control measures. By leading the stewarding department, the Kitchen Manager OEM plays an integral part in supporting the overall objectives of the Food & Beverage Department. Candidates must be proactive, detail-oriented, and possess excellent communication skills to maintain open lines of communication with other departments and management.   • High school diploma or equivalent
  • minimum 2 years of experience in stewarding, kitchen maintenance, or kitchen operations
  • at least 1 year of supervisory experience
  • knowledge of food and beverage service operations preferred
  • certification in Food Handlers, Alcohol Awareness, CPR and First Aid
  • ability to obtain Food Manager Certification if not already certified
