The role of Janitor at Didlake is based at the NAS Oceana Dam Neck Annex in Virginia Beach, offering an hourly wage of $17.75. This position is vital in ensuring that all assigned areas remain clean, orderly, and well-maintained according to Didlake's Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs). The Janitor’s responsibilities are varied and include sweeping, mopping, scrubbing, waxing, and polishing floors, removing trash and refuse, dusting equipment and furniture, polishing metal fixtures, and maintaining cleanliness in lavatories, showers, and restrooms. A significant emphasis is placed on maintaining hygiene and ensuring that the work environment is safe, pleasant, and conducive to productivity. This janitorial position is not only about cleaning but also about fostering a positive team spirit and producing quality work.
