This job opportunity is a part-time position, primarily covering first and second shifts, with an expected availability of three days per week, including weekends. The position specifically focuses on guest service within a valet and bellman capacity, requiring a personable and attentive attitude to support guests from their arrival to departure. The guest service ambassador at AHC Hospitality plays a pivotal role in ensuring guests receive a seamless and welcoming experience. This involves greeting guests as they enter the valet motor lobby or main lobby, assisting with their luggage, parking guests' vehicles safely and efficiently, and responding promptly to their needs. The role demands a strong commitment to customer service excellence and maintaining a professional demeanor at all times. Team members are expected to uphold company standards by keeping the motor lobby and airlock neat and clean, monitoring and reporting equipment conditions, and participating actively in departmental meetings and training. Additionally, ambassadors are required to familiarize themselves with the local Grand Rapids area, have general knowledge of the property management system (PMS), and be prepared to handle large parcels. The role also emphasizes the importance of personal growth with mandatory TIPS certification and adherence to AHC’s guest service standards.
