The current opening is for a full-time Utility Aide/Dishwasher position, integral to supporting the dining functions on the campus. This role involves assisting in food preparation, maintaining sanitation, handling dishwashing duties, and managing the receipt and storage of supplies under the supervision of the Executive Chef or Director of Dining Services. It requires a hands-on approach to ensure that all aspects of dining service run smoothly, safely, and efficiently. The Utility Aide is essential in upholding the highest standards of cleanliness and food safety, which are critical in a luxury senior living environment. The position also involves inventory management, portion control, adherence to diet requirements, and participating in the setup and breakdown of resident events. The role demands a person who demonstrates technical skill, effective communication, initiative, flexibility, interpersonal and teamwork abilities, professionalism, and a strong ethical foundation. Physical demands include standing, walking, manual handling of objects and equipment, and lifting up to 50 pounds. Although the job is primarily based on site, occasional travel may be needed for training and company functions. Education requirements consist of a high school diploma or GED, with 1 to 2 years of similar experience preferred. Candidates must have the capability to read, write, speak, and understand English fluently, maintain attendance and punctuality standards, and work with minimal supervision.
