As a Preschool Cook at Chesterbrook Academy, you will play a vital role in ensuring that children receive nutritious, well-prepared meals in a safe and friendly setting. Your responsibilities will include planning, organizing, supervising, and participating in the preparation, cooking, baking, and serving of a wide variety of foods in quantities sufficient to meet the needs of the school community. Besides meal preparation, this role requires maintaining rigorous hygiene and cleanliness standards in the kitchen as per health department regulations. You will actively engage with children during meal times, modeling proper eating etiquette and food handling practices that promote lifelong healthy habits.
Working hours for the Preschool Cook position are Monday through Friday from 7:00 AM to 3:00 PM, providing a balanced schedule compatible with family and personal commitments. Additionally, you will assist in school operations such as classroom coverage and bus runs, fostering a collaborative team environment.                 - must be 18 years of age or older

 - high school diploma or GED and at least two years of experience with cooking in large quantities preferably in a school setting
