Responsibilities include greeting and assisting customers promptly, taking and preparing orders, handling food safely, and ensuring the coffee shop is well-stocked and clean throughout the day. The Barista will use various equipment such as registers, ice machines, dishwashers, and coffee preparation tools, ensuring that all operations comply with company policies and standards. Working in a dynamic and fast-paced environment, the Barista must demonstrate patience, professionalism, and strong communication skills, fostering partnerships with both customers and team members. • Less than high school diploma or equivalent experience
• six months or less of similar or related work experience
• ability to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or verbal instructions
• ability to do simple addition and subtraction
• visual acuity sufficient for clarity of vision at distances from 20 inches to under 20 feet, with or without correction
• ability to perform physical activities including climbing, balancing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, reaching, standing, walking, pushing, pulling, lifting up to 50 pounds occasionally, fingering, grasping, feeling, talking, hearing, and repetitive motions
