The role of the Logistics Specialist at TireHub is pivotal in ensuring operational efficiency and excellent customer service. This position focuses on the physical handling of tires, including the loading and unloading of tire shipments for storage and delivery. Logistics Specialists also play a critical role in customer engagements, often representing TireHub directly while performing deliveries. These specialists operate in a fast-paced environment, expected to work safely and efficiently while using various material handling equipment such as forklifts, order pickers, and pallet jacks. A successful Logistics Specialist not only manages the logistics tasks but also maintains strong communication with customers and team members, highlighting TireHub’s core commitments to approachability, adventurousness, relentlessness, and speed. This full-time position operates primarily Monday through Saturday with fluctuating day shift hours and offers a starting wage of $20.50 per hour. TireHub guarantees wage increases totaling $2.00 over the first year of employment, demonstrating their commitment to employee progression. Candidates for this role should bring at least one year of general work experience, a valid driver’s license with a minimum of two years of driving history, and be at least 19 years of age. The job is physically demanding, requiring frequent lifting, bending, twisting, and the ability to work up to 35 feet above ground level and up to 8 hours per day operating forklifts. Safety and compliance are paramount, alongside the ability to work independently and as part of a team. The working environment can range from climate-varied warehouses to outdoor customer locations, which may include night driving and operation during inclement weather.
