Currently, Lot Management is seeking temporary Day Porters to join their team. This role is crucial in maintaining the cleanliness and general upkeep of the assigned properties located at 3202 Governor Dr and 7863 Girard Ave. The position operates on a Thursday to Tuesday schedule, with Wednesdays off, from 4:00 pm to 10:00 pm, offering a competitive hourly pay rate of $17.75. The role is designed for individuals who thrive in fast-paced environments and possess the ability to work independently while maintaining high standards of cleanliness and safety. As a Day Porter, the incumbent will play a vital role in ensuring that properties under Lot Management’s care remain welcoming and spotless. Responsibilities include routine janitorial duties such as sweeping, mopping, dusting, restroom cleaning, and emptying trash receptacles. In addition to internal cleaning tasks, Day Porters also handle outdoor upkeep such as cleaning exterior windows and doors and removing debris like stickers, chewing gum, coffee spills, and graffiti. The role requires constant walking around the property to monitor cleanliness and promptly notify supervisors of any repair needs, aiding in the timely maintenance and safety of the premises. Physical stamina and attention to detail are essential for this role. The work demands the ability to stand for extended durations, lift weights ranging from 1 to 50 pounds occasionally, and perform repetitive tasks like climbing stairs and reaching overhead. Safety is paramount, and employees are expected to wear appropriate safety equipment, including gloves, goggles, and safety vests, to mitigate workplace hazards.
