The Concierge position at PeaceHealth is a part-time role with a 0.60 Full-Time Equivalent (FTE) schedule and a variable work arrangement. The offered salary range for this opening is between $18.92 and $27.71 per hour, based on factors such as education, training, experience, and seniority. This role is ideal for individuals passionate about providing excellent customer service and facilitating positive experiences for visitors. As a Concierge, you will play a vital role in welcoming guests, patients, staff, and vendors to the facility by providing directions, information, and assistance to ensure their needs are met promptly and courteously. You will be positioned visibly in the lobby, serving as the face of PeaceHealth to everyone entering the premises. Your responsibilities will include acting as a resource for lobby volunteers, offering guidance and support, and helping maintain smooth operations. The role requires managing visitor IDs, escorting individuals to their destinations, facilitating wheelchair transportation, and coordinating with various departments such as Environmental Services as needed. An important aspect of the role involves taking temperature measurements of caregivers, providers, patients, vendors, and visitors as part of health and safety protocols, and accurately recording this information in a computerized tracking system. This ensures compliance with organizational and public health standards. Ideal candidates will have prior customer service or concierge experience but most importantly, excellent communication skills, the ability to give clear and concise directions, and the capacity to work both independently and collaboratively within a team. Basic computer skills are essential for documenting operational data and managing routine tasks.
