We are currently seeking a dynamic and experienced Team Member (Employee) Relations Manager to join our team. This critical role focuses on leading and managing employee relations efforts within the company, fostering a positive work environment that aligns with our core values and strategic goals. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring compliance with labor laws, facilitating conflict resolution, and promoting workplace culture that supports employee engagement and retention.
This position offers an annual base salary range from $100,000 to $125,000, reflecting considerations such as the candidate's geographic location, relevant experience, education, skills, and organizational equity. The Employee Relations Manager will play a pivotal role in guiding management and staff on discipline, performance management, and policy interpretation, while also leading complex and sensitive investigations to maintain fairness and legal compliance.
The role demands strong collaboration with legal counsel when necessary to mitigate organizational risk, as well as the development and revision of HR policies and procedures in alignment with current best practices and regulatory requirements. Training and development on workplace conduct, harassment prevention, and performance management initiatives will also be key components of this position.
Strategically, the Employee Relations Manager will work closely with HR leadership to ensure that employee relations initiatives support business objectives, fostering a culture that celebrates diversity and inclusion. This person will analyze employee relations data to recommend proactive solutions for continuous improvement in employee satisfaction and retention.
This is an on-site position that requires travel to various field locations or venues as needed. The ideal candidate will hold a Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, or a related field with 5-7 years of progressive experience in employee relations, preferably within fast-paced industries such as hospitality, retail, sports, or entertainment. Exceptional interpersonal, coaching, and conflict resolution skills are essential, along with knowledge of California labor laws and employment regulations.

- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, or comparable experience
- 5-7 years of progressive employee relations experience
- strong knowledge of labor laws, employment regulations, and HR best practices in California
- demonstrated experience handling high-volume or high-complexity ER issues in hospitality, retail, restaurant, or sports organizations
- exceptional interpersonal, coaching, and conflict-resolution skills
