The position offers a steady Monday through Friday schedule from 6:00 AM to 2:30 PM with no nights or weekends, making it ideal for professionals seeking work-life balance without sacrificing career advancement. As the Executive Chef, you will take charge of the culinary operations of the Indian café, which includes managing multiple specialized stations such as the Indian-Style Meat Station, Vegetarian Station, Chaat Station, and Indian Grill Station. Your responsibilities will span designing and executing a diverse menu that spans the spectrum of Indian cuisine—from North Indian curries and tandoori dishes to South Indian dosas and snacks. You will spend approximately 80% of your time engaged in hands-on cooking to maintain the highest culinary standards and consistency. Leading a team of seven skilled professionals, you will oversee daily kitchen operations including menu planning, inventory control, and ingredient procurement, placing strong emphasis on fresh, locally sourced, and seasonal ingredients.
