The role of System Executive Chef at Morrison Healthcare offers a highly rewarding leadership opportunity for culinary professionals passionate about healthcare food service. This position requires overseeing culinary operations across multiple hospital units within a geographic region, ensuring that food production is on-trend, efficient, safe, and sanitary. The System Executive Chef leads all aspects of culinary management including menu development, inventory oversight, purchasing, food cost control, and staff training and development. This role demands frequent travel to various accounts within the region to maintain consistency and ensure the highest quality standards across all culinary venues. The successful candidate will be responsible for setting high culinary standards for retail, board meals, dining, and catering operations while inspiring and developing local culinary teams. Furthermore, the System Executive Chef champions corporate social responsibility initiatives focusing on food seasonality, health and wellness, and culinary arts excellence within hospital campuses. Key duties also involve analyzing operational performance and trends to identify areas for improvement and innovating to meet evolving customer needs. Communicating the nuances of menu items effectively to customers and team members is essential to this role, as is fostering an inclusive and healthy dining environment. Morrison Healthcare prefers candidates with a culinary degree or a bachelor’s degree in Food Services Technology, Management, or a related field, along with three to five years of progressive culinary or kitchen management experience. Candidates should also possess strong leadership capabilities, comprehensive knowledge of food and catering trends, and be proficient with computer applications including Microsoft Office, email, and internet tools. ServSafe�� certification is also a requirement for this position.                 - Culinary degree preferred
 - bachelor's degree in food services technology/management or related field preferred
