The role of a Clean Team Associate at Arizona Charlie's Decatur is critical in maintaining the cleanliness and overall presentation of the hotel and casino. This position is responsible for ensuring that all assigned areas remain clean, safe, and hospitable to guests by performing a range of cleaning tasks. Clean Team Associates engage in routine maintenance duties such as sweeping, vacuuming, mopping, scrubbing floors, and removing debris like paper and disposable cups. They take care to clean and sanitize high-touch surfaces including slot machines, chairs, fixtures, mirrors, and public restrooms. Special attention is given to biohazardous spills, which require adherence to strict safety protocols. This position requires compliance with the company’s policies and procedures, including safety guidelines related to biohazardous material handling and OSHA standards. Associates must be able to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment that includes exposure to cigarette smoke and loud noise. Physical stamina is necessary to regularly perform tasks that involve walking, standing, stooping, lifting up to 50 pounds, and using cleaning tools with dexterity. Effective communication skills in occupational-based English, both written and verbal, are essential to operate safely and coordinate with team members, especially using radios. • At least one to three months of related experience or training preferred
• ability to functionally communicate occupational-based English both written and verbal
• must be at least 21 years of age
• ability to work with cleaning products chemicals and solvents using safety equipment provided by the company
• ability to read Material Safety Data Sheets written in English
• regularly required to work with electrical equipment
• must be able to tolerate a fast-paced environment with regular exposure to cigarette smoke and loud noise
• regularly walk stand or stoop
• frequently lift carry push pull or otherwise move objects weighing up to 50 lbs
• use tools or equipment requiring a high degree of dexterity
• ability to communicate via radios
