The Supervisor, Dining Experience role at Inglis is an exciting opportunity to be a pivotal part of the team responsible for delivering a healthy, flexible, and enjoyable dining service to residents, day program patients, employees, visitors, volunteers, and students. This leadership role requires overseeing and ensuring the Dietary Staff is effectively scheduled, trained, evaluated, and competent while maintaining discipline in all related food production and service activities. The supervisor will ensure compliance with customer service standards, food safety protocols, cleaning procedures, budgeting, catering, cash control, and retail operations, guaranteeing inspection readiness at all times.
The position involves fostering a positive work environment and building a strong, successful team. The Supervisor plays a key role in supporting Inglis’ mission and financial boundaries while upholding the highest integrity standards, supporting Inglis Values, and ensuring compliance with all regulatory agencies. This individual will be integral in enhancing the overall resident experience by aligning the dining service with the principles of dignity, privacy, independence, choice, and individuality. The supervisor's leadership and commitment will directly influence consumer safety and satisfaction, while also complying with infection control, safety regulations, and health guidelines.
Offered with an annual salary range of $55,000 to $65,000, this full-time position demands a candidate who is passionate about quality, consumer safety, and teamwork. The successful candidate will possess strong communication and project management skills, the ability to exercise good judgment, and a thorough understanding of dietary service in healthcare settings. - High school diploma or equivalent
- Three to five years relevant experience
- Prior experience in dietary or food service department, preferably in a healthcare environment
- Familiar with Infection Control procedures and OSHA requirements
- Demonstrated ability to exercise good judgment
- Demonstrated excellent communication skills
- Strong program and project management skills
- Ability to develop employee and organizational relationships
- Demonstrated excellent customer service skills
- Ability to understand, interpret and uphold Inglis policies
- Ability to interface and communicate effectively with leaders and all other functions in the company
- Excellent written and presentation skills
