As an Operations Generalist at Petco, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth and efficient running of the Pet Care Center locations. This position is pivotal for driving merchandising and inventory strategies that align with Petco’s high standards and processes. The Operations Generalist is responsible for maintaining proper stock levels, pricing, and merchandise presentation to uphold an exceptional guest experience that supports both pet welfare and customer satisfaction. Your daily activities will include tasks such as unloading shipments, stocking shelves, cleaning the store, operating the cash register, and providing attentive support to guests and their pets. • Minimum high school diploma or its equivalency
• Demonstrate proficiency in mathematics
• Have above average communication skills
• Show genuine interest in animal care
• Possess good interpersonal and verbal communication skills
• Ability to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends
• Capability to lift and move merchandise up to 50 pounds
• Willingness to follow safety and operational procedures
