The role available is a Warehouse Delivery Driver position based in El Paso, Texas. The position supports daily warehouse operations by ensuring timely and efficient delivery of materials to Border States branches and customer sites. The responsibilities encompass a comprehensive range of delivery duties, including maintaining vehicle cleanliness, performing regular maintenance, scheduling mandatory DOT and state vehicle inspections, and maintaining logs and inspection records. The driver also loads and unloads materials, assists with warehouse functions like order filling, stocking shelves, and processing returns, and provides exceptional customer service in all interactions. This position requires adherence to all local, state, and federal traffic and safety laws and necessitates strong organizational skills to coordinate deliveries effectively, sometimes collaborating with other carriers to optimize material shipping. Candidates should be comfortable with physical requirements such as lifting materials up to 75 pounds occasionally and engaging in a variety of physical activities including sitting, standing, walking, reaching, and operating forklifts continuously. The role also requires ensuring compliance with safety protocols and maintaining a clean, safe work environment.
