The role offered is an internship position within Wasserman's Baseball division, focused on athlete marketing and partnerships. This position is an unpaid internship designed for college students who are eligible to receive academic credit as compensation. During this internship, candidates will gain valuable hands-on experience actively prospecting brands to secure partnership opportunities for Wasserman Baseball athletes. The internship offers meaningful exposure to the sports marketing industry, focusing on client engagement, brand outreach, and strategic relationship building. Interns will be responsible for creating target lists, conducting market research on specific brands or markets, assisting in coordinating meetings or calls with key decision-makers through cold calling, and supporting various aspects of the athlete marketing process. Reporting directly to the Senior Coordinator of NIL Marketing for Baseball, interns will support vital marketing initiatives, including client gifting and enhancing MLB client partnerships. This internship offers an immersive experience in a fast-paced environment, ideal for individuals who aspire to build a career in sports marketing, athlete representation, or brand partnerships. Interns will develop critical skills in communication, organization, and time management, while gaining direct experience in sales, marketing outreach, and business development related to the sports industry. As a remote opportunity running from January 27, 2026, to May 1, 2026, with a commitment of approximately 20 hours per week, this role offers flexibility and accessibility for students balancing academic commitments.
