This role is situated within CAA’s Golf group, a specialized team that helps corporations harness the power and expansive reach of golf through sponsorships and brand activation. The group's focus lies in orchestrating high-impact events, VIP hospitality experiences, and managing relationships with players and media. The opportunity as an Account Manager within this department is ideal for an ambitious, detail-oriented professional seeking growth and hands-on experience in a dynamic environment. The position supports overall sponsorship strategy and execution, primarily concentrating on major events and hospitality programs. This role requires daily interaction with clients and collaboration across various internal departments, external vendors, and property partners. Responsibilities revolve around facilitating major sponsorship activations, including title sponsorships and bespoke VIP client experiences that often involve athletes and talent.
The Account Manager will play a pivotal role in supporting the planning and execution of a diverse range of events such as national, sports, and entertainment-based gatherings, as well as high-touch executive events. They will be involved in pre-planning activities including vendor vetting and selection, development of activation plans, and preparation of communication documents such as agendas, status updates, project plans, and event guides. The position demands the creation and management of detailed work-back schedules, staff guides, event run-of-shows, and tracking spreadsheets to ensure smooth and timely account support. Additionally, the Account Manager will facilitate creative approvals for various elements like renderings, signage, and point-of-sale materials. They will also assist with budgeting, vendor negotiations, expense management, shipping logistics, and other administrative duties. On-site event logistics management is integral to the role, encompassing registration management, venue and vendor setup oversight, guest gifting operations, and overall execution.
Successful candidates should be prepared to travel frequently throughout the year, including during nights and weekends, for events, meetings, and site visits, demonstrating flexibility with work hours. The position is based in Jacksonville, FL, offering an annual salary range of $68,000 to $80,000, with eligibility for benefits and discretionary bonuses. - Bachelor's degree in business administration or marketing preferred
