The role available is that of a Spa Concierge, a pivotal position responsible for delivering courteous and efficient guest service from the point of arrival through check-in and check-out. This position involves booking, changing, or canceling spa appointments with accuracy and ensuring a seamless experience for all guests and members. The Spa Concierge must uphold the Forbes Five Star service standards at all times, providing not just service but an experience that reflects the resort's reputation for luxury and excellence. This role requires maintaining resort policies and procedures, supporting a team-oriented atmosphere, and working closely with various departments such as Spa/Fitness staff, resort management, housekeeping, and engineering. The ideal candidate will be adept at handling multiple responsibilities, including scheduling spa reservations in SpaSoft, processing billing, explaining treatment options, selling retail products, organizing and maintaining a neat front desk and lobby environment, and responding promptly and professionally to guest concerns. They should also be knowledgeable about spa operations, policies, and products while promoting health and wellness to clients effectively. This role demands excellent communication skills, both in person and through technology, and the ability to maintain confidentiality and professionalism under all circumstances. Physically, the role requires the ability to stand, sit, stoop, or bend for extended periods during shifts of at least eight hours. It also involves some lifting, walking, and physical engagement to maintain a clean and safe work environment. The spa concierge is further expected to engage in ongoing professional development by participating in training sessions, workshops, and meetings to stay abreast of industry standards and spa treatments.
