The Checkout Attendant position is designed for individuals passionate about customer engagement, accuracy, and teamwork. It involves processing customer orders accurately and efficiently at various points of sale, including two-aisle check stands, multi-station self-checkout lanes, or customer service desks. This role typically entails working shifts ranging from 6 to 8 hours between early mornings at 5:00 am and late-night hours until 1:00 am, accommodating the store's extensive operating hours. Employees in this role are expected to maintain an upbeat and friendly demeanor, continually seeking opportunities to welcome, engage, serve, and thank customers while handling monetary transactions such as cash, checks, coupons, and refunds with precision and adherence to company policies.
