The Sous Chef role at Allegiant Stadium is a critical leadership position within the culinary department, working closely with the Executive Chef to oversee food production and service in the Club and Suite Levels. This full-time position offers an annual salary ranging from $60,000 to $80,000, coupled with a comprehensive benefits package including health, dental, and vision insurance, a 401(k) savings plan with matching contributions, and paid time off covering vacation days, sick days, and 11 holidays. The Sous Chef is responsible for managing kitchen operations in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment, ensuring culinary excellence and operational efficiency while maintaining stringent sanitation and safety standards.
In this elevated role, the Sous Chef leads kitchen staff in preparing and delivering high-quality menu items that meet the stadium’s exacting standards. The role requires strong organizational skills, the ability to manage inventory, coordinate kitchen equipment maintenance, and maintain seamless communication between back-of-house and front-of-house teams during events. The Sous Chef must possess a thorough understanding of menus and food preparation techniques to ensure consistent and prompt service to guests. Supervisory responsibilities include interviewing, training, and evaluating kitchen employees, working closely with Human Resources to handle disciplinary actions and rewards. Success in this position demands strong leadership, excellent interpersonal communication, and proven ability to control food and labor costs within budgeted goals. With a focus on teamwork, creativity, and guest satisfaction, the Sous Chef plays a pivotal role in enhancing the overall event experience at Allegiant Stadium.                 - Minimum of 3-5 years experience as a Sous Chef or similar role
 - Culinary degree or equivalent professional experience
 - Strong knowledge of culinary techniques, food safety, and sanitation practices
 - Proven leadership and team motivation skills
 - Excellent organizational and time-management skills
 - Ability to work in fast-paced, high-pressure environments
 - Strong communication and interpersonal skills
 - Proficiency in kitchen management and point-of-sale software
 - ServSafe certification or equivalent
 - Ability to work flexible hours including nights, weekends, and holidays
 - Must maintain local health codes and sanitation HACCP
 - Valid SNHD health card

 - Ability to lift and move up to 50 pounds regularly
 - Ability to stand and walk for extended periods
