We are currently looking for qualified Servers to join our growing team. The Server role at Border Cafe is dynamic and vital to the overall guest experience. Servers are responsible for providing exceptional customer service by greeting and assisting customers, presenting menus, taking and serving food and drink orders, and managing table settings and cleanliness throughout their shift. This role requires clear communication with both the kitchen and serving staff to ensure timely and accurate order fulfillment. A Server’s duties also include delivering checks, collecting payments, and adhering to all relevant health department rules and customer service guidelines to maintain the restaurant’s high standards. The ideal candidate will be someone who is a critical thinker, a problem solver, and a dedicated team player with excellent time-management skills and strong interpersonal communication abilities. Physical stamina and excellent active listening are also important to succeed in this role, as is a customer-centric attitude. While prior experience as a restaurant server is preferred, we also value candidates who demonstrate a willingness to learn and grow with the team. Experience with ordering information systems and food safety training is considered a plus. This position is available both full-time and part-time, offering a competitive hourly wage between $15.00 and $28.00, including tips. Our schedule includes day and night shifts, weekends, holidays, and regular Monday to Friday availability, providing flexibility to accommodate different lifestyle needs. • High school diploma
• Experience in restaurant service preferred
• Ability to reliably commute or plan to relocate to Burlington, MA 01803
