The Housekeeping Management position at Gaylord Opryland Resort & Convention Center is an entry-level management role that plays a vital part in supporting the day-to-day housekeeping operations, including public space maintenance, guest room cleaning, and facilities management in areas such as recreation and health clubs, as applicable. This full-time role is key in ensuring that the highest standards of cleanliness and guest satisfaction are consistently met. The management position involves collaborating closely with employees to maintain the quality of guestrooms and public areas, conducting inspections, and ensuring corrective measures are taken where necessary. Additionally, this role supports budget compliance while fostering an environment of excellent guest and employee experience. The ideal candidate will have either a high school diploma or GED with at least one year of relevant housekeeping or related professional experience, or a two-year degree in Hotel and Restaurant Management, Hospitality, Business Administration, or a related field without work experience. Responsibilities include managing housekeeping operations and budgets, overseeing supply inventories, coordinating with other departments such as Engineering for maintenance needs, and supervising housekeeping staff in the absence of senior management. The manager also plays a critical role in guest relations by addressing complaints and ensuring service standards exceed expectations. This position offers a competitive hourly pay rate between $25.02 and $28.37, alongside eligibility for a bonus program.
