Currently, Lyon Living is seeking to hire a Porter - Groundskeeper for Basecamp at RED, one of their properties located in Reno, NV. This position is vital for maintaining the overall attractiveness, cleanliness, and safety of the property. The Groundskeeper role involves a range of janitorial and maintenance tasks aimed at presenting the property in pristine condition to current and prospective residents. The ideal candidate will have a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and the ability to provide excellent customer service as part of their daily duties. The position offers a pay range of $19.00 to $22.00 per hour, although on-site housing is not provided. Employment is onsite, with a requirement to attend offsite meetings and visits to other company-operated locations. Use of a valid driver’s license or alternative transportation to meet job-related travel requirements is necessary. The Groundskeeper plays an essential role in enhancing the resident experience by ensuring that the property is clean, well-maintained, and safe. Tasks include maintaining central trash removal areas, equipment upkeep, snow removal assistance, cleaning of common areas, and supporting apartment preparation for new occupancy. The employee is expected to participate in monthly safety meetings and uphold all safety protocols, particularly around chemicals and hazardous materials. The position requires a flexible work schedule that can accommodate weekends and overtime as needed.
