SEASONAL NANNY NEEDED IN NEWPORT BEACH FOR HNW FAMILY!

Located in beautiful Newport Beach, CA, this warm and dynamic family is seeking a nurturing and experienced full-time nanny to join their household from mid-November through February 1st, with the opportunity to return seasonally each year if it proves to be a great fit. The family is comprised of two energetic boys, ages two and five, who require a caregiver that understands the balance of activity, developmental support, and fun. The family divides their time between Newport Beach and Connecticut during the contract period, which demands that the right nanny candidate be enthusiastic and prepared for both domestic and international travel. This position is a rare chance to work with a high-profile, active family who values reliability, discretion, and a deep commitment to their children’s growth, happiness, and safety. This full-time nanny role offers a guaranteed 40 hours per week with a fluid schedule primarily from Monday to Friday, working from 1:00 PM to 7:00 or 8:00 PM, plus Saturdays as needed, and Sundays off. The nanny will be the primary caregiver responsible for hands-on child care, including planning and implementing age-appropriate activities, engaging in active play, participating in daily reading, and supporting early learning and school readiness. Additional responsibilities include preparing healthy meals and snacks, managing the children’s laundry, ensuring their rooms and play areas remain tidy and organized, and running light errands as necessary. The ideal nanny candidate is patient, active, and able to keep pace with two lively young children while fostering a nurturing, supportive environment. Safety awareness is paramount; therefore, candidates must be CPR and First Aid certified, confident swimmers, non-smokers, and have a clean driving record, as transporting the children to and from school, extracurricular activities, and playdates is expected. A motherly or grandmotherly presence is highly preferred, and candidates with backgrounds in child development, bilingual skills, or experience with gentle discipline methods will be highly regarded.
