This role is a temporary culinary position covering the Thanksgiving holiday from November 20 to December 1, 2025, with potential employment for the 2026 season running from April through October. The position involves preparing food items for various outlets according to designated menus and recipes, ensuring all culinary preparations meet quality and presentation standards. The role requires effective station setup with mise en place, adherence to food safety and sanitation regulations, and maintaining kitchen efficiency and waste reduction. The employee will work across multiple food stations, including line, salad, prep, and cold entree lines, contributing to a smooth flow of food orders. Additional responsibilities include proper operation and maintenance of kitchen equipment, inventory management, and assisting with opening and closing procedures.
The ideal candidate possesses prior culinary experience and a strong understanding of food service protocols, including knowledge of Idaho State Health and Wellness regulations. They must be capable of working well with diverse personalities, following verbal and written instructions meticulously, and performing basic mathematical calculations accurately. Flexibility to work weekends, holidays, and various shifts is essential, as is the ability to perform light physical tasks and work in different weather conditions inside and out.
