The AC Scottsdale Old Town is a premier hotel property currently in the pre-opening phase, located in the vibrant heart of Old Town Scottsdale. As an Assistant General Manager at the AC Scottsdale Old Town, you will play a crucial role in supporting the General Manager with all facets of hotel operations. This position demands a dynamic leader who can manage and lead various departments including Front Desk/Guest Services, Housekeeping, Engineering, and Food and Beverage (F&B). Depending on the hotel’s size and the complexity of its F&B operations, the Assistant General Manager will tailor strategies to ensure operational excellence, high standards, and profitability. You will be instrumental in guiding the hotel towards budgetary goals by maximizing revenue and controlling costs such as labor through effective training and efficient scheduling. This role requires not only operational management skills but also the ability to lead a diverse team, promote a positive work culture, and proactively recruit qualified candidates. You will ensure all brand and company training programs are adhered to and that compliance with human resources policies and regulatory requirements is maintained. The Assistant General Manager must demonstrate an unwavering commitment to providing the highest quality service, leading by example and fostering a guest-centric approach among all team members. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing departmental budgets, managing expenses, enforcing brand standards, and overseeing property upkeep and safety to maintain the hotel’s reputation for excellence. Daily tasks include tracking guest satisfaction and addressing concerns, maintaining inventory and supplies to support staff productivity, ensuring the consistent execution of property inspections, and facilitating employee training for career advancement within the company. A vital part of this leadership role involves ensuring all security measures are in place to protect both staff and guests. Accuracy in payroll administration and labor law compliance is also essential, along with the flexibility to perform various functions across departments to cover staffing needs.   • Minimum of 3 years of experience in a supervisory or management role in hotel operations
  • F&B experience highly desired
