The Host position at Rosewood Inn of the Anasazi plays a critical role within the Food & Beverage Services department, offering a full-time permanent employment opportunity. This role is essential in ensuring an outstanding guest dining experience, representing the hotel’s high standards of service and hospitality from the moment guests enter the restaurant. The Host is tasked with managing the flow and coordination of the dining area, greeting guests with warmth and professionalism, and providing knowledgeable assistance about the restaurant’s offerings and local area attractions. They maintain comprehensive knowledge of restaurant policies, seating arrangements, menu items, beverage options, and liquor regulations to efficiently cater to guest needs, while upholding compliance with all relevant standards and legal requirements. The position demands excellent interpersonal skills, attention to detail, and the ability to prioritize guest satisfaction while working cohesively with the team. Responsibilities span from opening duties such as setting tables, preparing supplies, and organizing service areas to closing duties that ensure the restaurant is clean, well-stocked, and ready for the next service. The ideal candidate is expected to have experience in restaurant service, preferably within luxury or ultra-luxury hospitality brands, along with the necessary certifications like NM Food Handler Certification and NM Alcohol Server Permit.
