The role of Part-Time Sales Lead at Gladys Porter Zoo offered through Event Network is key to maintaining and elevating these exceptional experiences. As a Sales Lead, you are an essential part of a friendly and enthusiastic team whose interactions with guests help foster excitement, fun, and surprise. Supporting day-to-day store operations, you work closely with the store management team to ensure smooth operations and that each guest enjoys the best possible shopping experience. Your engagement with guests is both entertaining and memorable, as you proactively provide welcoming service and lively product demonstrations.
This position requires prior retail keyholder or supervisory experience, strong merchandising skills, and the ability to work flexible schedules including weekends, early evenings, and holidays. A natural enjoyment of interacting with people of all ages and a positive, engaging demeanor are critical. Physical demands include standing, walking, reaching, and occasionally lifting or moving up to 40 pounds.
