Reporting to the Store Manager, the Sales Associate is an essential member of the Donated Goods Retail Operations team. The position requires handling customer transactions accurately using a computer-based register, ensuring efficient organization and stocking of merchandise, and providing exceptional customer service. Additionally, the Sales Associate assists in training and developing store team members, volunteers, and clients. The role demands excellent communication skills, adherence to company policies, and the ability to maintain the store environment, including handling donations and operating equipment like pallet jacks. Beyond sales responsibilities, the Sales Associate must uphold store safety, assist with inventory management by notifying management of stock levels, and support overall store security. Physical stamina is required as the job entails lifting items up to 40 pounds, performing various physical motions such as bending, squatting, and reaching, and working indoors with varying exposure to allergens and moderate noise levels. The position requires punctuality, professionalism, and a flexible schedule including the ability to work nights and weekends. • High school diploma or equivalent preferred
