This full-time opportunity is available at the Marion County Jail facility in Salem, Oregon, where TSG manages the food service operations. Employees in this role enjoy a competitive wage rate of $19.75 per hour and access to attractive benefits such as medical, dental, and vision coverage, basic life insurance, and a 401(k) retirement savings plan with company matching. The role of Food Service Supervisor is pivotal within this correctional facility’s kitchen operations. The supervisor's primary responsibility is the oversight and management of inmate labor alongside team members engaged in preparing and serving meals. This involves not only ensuring that food is prepared quickly, safely, and according to established recipes and work instructions but also maintaining rigorous observance of sanitation, food storage, handling standards, and institutional policies.
