With a rich history and deep roots in the communities it serves, Runza prioritizes quality food, friendly service, and a positive work environment. The brand has grown steadily, distinguishing itself by not only delivering delicious menu items but also by fostering a supportive culture that values both its employees and customers. Runza offers competitive compensation and impressive opportunities for leadership development and ownership, particularly through its unique investment model where successful general managers can own up to 20 percent of their restaurant location. This ownership opportunity incentivizes managers to operate efficiently and stay invested in the long-term success of their locations. The role of a Runza Manager is pivotal to the restaurant's daily operations and overall success. This leadership position is designed for ambitious individuals who possess strong leadership capabilities and a passion for training and developing teams. As a manager, one oversees all facets of restaurant operations including managing team members by selecting, developing, and evaluating their performance. The role also involves inventory management, ordering food and supplies, and ensuring operational standards are met or exceeded. Driving sales, optimizing profits, and ensuring guest satisfaction are key components of the manager's responsibilities. Runza Managers are expected to enforce company policies, maintain a clean and professional restaurant image, and uphold high-quality food and service standards. They play a critical role in maintaining compliance with health department regulations and operational procedures, ensuring a safe and positive environment for both guests and employees. Scheduling, team training, and effective communication are essential duties as managers prepare weekly schedules, manage shifts, and foster a positive work culture that encourages growth and motivation. This full-time position starts with a competitive base salary of $58,000 per year, supplemented by monthly bonuses averaging $875. The position offers flexible and family-friendly work hours, comprehensive health benefits including medical, dental, vision, disability, and life insurance, as well as retirement plans with company matching. Paid time off and holidays, employee discounts, referral programs, and annual awards and trips for top performers are also included. Managers receive dedicated training through Runza University, ensuring ongoing leadership development and success in their roles. This position requires a hands-on approach and a willingness to work varied hours including nights, weekends, and holidays, with some physical demands such as standing for long periods and lifting up to 60 pounds. Joining Runza means becoming part of a company that not only prioritizes quality and service but also actively participates in community development, having donated over $3 million to charitable causes in the last decade. Working at Runza is more than a job; it is an opportunity to lead, grow, and make a meaningful impact in a supportive environment where team members truly make what matters.
