The role of a Runza Manager is pivotal to the restaurant's daily operations and overall success. As a manager, one oversees all facets of restaurant operations including managing team members by selecting, developing, and evaluating their performance. The role also involves inventory management, ordering food and supplies, and ensuring operational standards are met or exceeded. Runza Managers are expected to enforce company policies, maintain a clean and professional restaurant image, and uphold high-quality food and service standards. They play a critical role in maintaining compliance with health department regulations and operational procedures, ensuring a safe and positive environment for both guests and employees. Scheduling, team training, and effective communication are essential duties as managers prepare weekly schedules, manage shifts, and foster a positive work culture that encourages growth and motivation. This full-time position starts with a competitive base salary of $58,000 per year, supplemented by monthly bonuses averaging $875. • Must be at least 18 years of age
• High school diploma or its equivalent (i.e. G.E.D.)
• Proficient in typical computer software programs (MS Word, Excel, Outlook)
• Proficient in the following dimensions of restaurant functions: food planning and preparation, purchasing, sanitation, security, company policies and procedures, personnel management, recordkeeping, and preparation of reports
• Must attend and successfully complete Runza University
• Must possess a valid driver’s license
• Must be eligible to work in the United States
• Must pass a criminal background check
