The role of Route Sales Professional at Bimbo Bakeries USA is an important position within the company that blends customer service, sales, and logistics. The Route Sales Professional will manage and grow sales through in-store merchandising, product stocking, and strategic display placement. They will work closely with customers to build strong relationships and identify opportunities to introduce new products and maximize shelf space. This role requires driving a company route truck safely while completing important route settlement procedures that include managing invoices, cash, and inventory accurately. With a typical shift that starts early in the morning at 4am and continues until the route is completed, this role demands dedication and focus, while offering the benefit of two days off per week. The average annual compensation for this position ranges between $65,000 and $75,000, consisting of base pay plus commission. Additionally, team members are offered benefits subject to collective bargaining agreement terms including pension, medical and dental coverage, holidays, and paid time off.
This position is ideal for motivated individuals with prior direct sales distribution experience who have excellent driving skills and the physical capability to perform tasks such as climbing, pushing, pulling, bending, stooping, kneeling, and frequent reaching.                 - Must be at least 21 years of age or older
 - Must have a valid driver’s license with a safe driving record
 - Must be able to acquire and maintain a DOT medical card
 - Ability to climb, push/pull, bend, stoop, and kneel for extended periods as well as perform frequent reaching and use of fingers
 - 1-3 years of related experience in DSD is preferred
