The Room Attendant position involves ensuring the cleanliness, upkeep, and presentation of guest rooms to the highest standards expected of a luxury hotel. Responsibilities include efficiently cleaning a set number of rooms within scheduled time frames, replenishing linens and amenities, dusting and sanitizing various living spaces, making beds with precision, maintaining cleanliness of carpets and marble or tile surfaces, and managing room service items. Additionally, the attendant may provide support in lobby and house attendant roles during peak times or staff absences, enhancing operational flexibility.
Ideal candidates will bring at least one year of housekeeping experience within a luxury hotel setting and demonstrate proficiency in spoken and written English for effective communication. The role requires flexibility to work various shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays, along with physical stamina to handle regular bending and lifting.
