This job opportunity is for the role of Account Manager within PMC's Valet Parking Operations department, located in Albuquerque, NM. As a full-time exempt position, the Account Manager reports directly to the City Manager and/or Area Manager and is compensated with a salary range between $45,000 and $65,000, plus bonus potential depending on market and experience. The Account Manager position is a supervisory and operational role that involves managing the day-to-day activities of an assigned location to ensure exceptional service delivery to clients and guests.
The Account Manager’s primary responsibility is to lead and manage valet parking operations by optimizing efficiency, maximizing financial performance, and elevating guest satisfaction. This role entails extensive staff management, including hiring, training, scheduling, and coaching hourly associates to maintain high-performance standards and professionalism. Ensuring consistency in customer service quality and compliance with company policies is paramount to success in this position.
Additionally, the Account Manager is tasked with managing client relationships by serving as the primary contact for each property. This includes meeting contractual obligations, maintaining open communication channels, and proactively identifying opportunities for service enhancements and business growth. Financial oversight is a critical part of the role, involving the monitoring of revenues, payroll, and operating expenses to maintain budgets and support cost control initiatives.
Operational oversight includes conducting regular site visits to resolve issues, maintain equipment, and improve processes. The Account Manager also maintains responsibility for team performance through active involvement in planning, decision-making, and process improvement initiatives. Reporting duties include providing updates to management on progress, challenges, and operational status. The role requires flexibility, as the Account Manager might work various shifts and occasionally travel for financial reviews, audits, or corporate meetings.
The successful candidate will be adept at navigating both indoor and outdoor work environments, frequently interacting with clients, vendors, teams, and corporate stakeholders. Physical demands include standing, walking, and occasionally lifting luggage or other moderate weights, along with excellent vision abilities essential for situational awareness and safety on site.

- High school diploma or GED
- three years supervisory experience in parking hospitality or customer service
- valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
- clean motor vehicle record with no more than three moving violations in three years
- ability to pass background check
- ability to work flexible hours including during financial close periods and occasional travel
