The Retail Cashier position at AAA Club Alliance is more than just handling transactions; it is an opportunity to become a key part of the retail experience that supports membership growth and customer satisfaction. This role involves directly engaging with customers by greeting and assisting them with their needs while promoting AAA’s products and services such as new memberships, credit cards, and insurance referrals. Employees in this role perform a vital function in processing payments for all in-store transactions with accuracy and efficiency, ensuring smooth daily operations. Additionally, Retail Cashiers reconcile daily transactions and prepare bank deposits at the end of each shift, which requires attention to detail and trustworthiness. Beyond standard cashier responsibilities, Retail Cashiers at AAA Club Alliance also have the opportunity to support essential services by processing passport photos and issuing International or Inter-American Driving Permits when required. In some cases, they may serve as a backup to assist with the functions related to Tag and Title services as well as IDEMIA services. This multifaceted role is ideal for candidates who thrive in a dynamic retail environment and are motivated by incentives, as the position is eligible for incentive pay in addition to a competitive hourly wage ranging from $18.45 to $28.73 per hour, based on experience and location. Working full-time with AAA Club Alliance offers a balanced schedule with store hours from Monday through Saturday, excluding Sundays, and a 37.5-hour workweek. • High school diploma or equivalent
• Previous sales and customer service experience, particularly in a cash handling position
• Effective written and oral communication skills
• Ability to navigate multiple websites and programs
• Willingness to obtain Notary Public designation within 6 months of employment
• Satisfactory pre-employment and post-employment screening results including criminal, drug, and state and/or vendor specific screenings
• Ability to obtain necessary Membership license or others as required
