The Rehab Aide position is an integral part of the Rehab Therapies Acute team at Enloe Health, designed to assist Physical and Occupational Therapists in delivering exceptional patient care and ensuring the smooth operation of therapy services. This role requires a compassionate and motivated individual capable of providing support across a variety of tasks, including direct patient care, clerical duties, and housekeeping responsibilities related to the therapy department. As a Rehab Aide, the successful candidate will work closely with therapists, patients, and other healthcare staff to facilitate a positive and efficient rehabilitative environment. The role demands excellent interpersonal and communication skills, a willingness to learn, and the ability to manage multiple responsibilities effectively throughout an 8-hour day shift. The Rehab Aide will contribute directly to patient outcomes by assisting with routine treatment procedures under therapist supervision, helping set up therapy equipment, and maintaining a clean and safe therapy area. Furthermore, the position offers an opportunity to gain valuable hands-on experience in a patient care field, making it ideal for individuals pursuing or working towards a degree in occupational therapy, physical therapy, exercise physiology, or related disciplines. Compensation for this role ranges from $20.45 to $26.17 per hour, dependent on applicable experience.
