The Receptionist role at Community Support Services Health Center Administration is a crucial entry point for clients, visitors, and family members. As the first person people meet when entering the facility, the Receptionist embodies the agency's mission of hope and recovery through courteous and professional interactions. This full-time position requires working 40 hours per week during normal business hours and offers an hourly wage of $15.00 to $18.00. In this role, the Receptionist is responsible for managing the registration process, ensuring visitors are properly checked in, and notifying staff of arrivals promptly. Handling a 21-line switchboard, the Receptionist receives, screens, and routes telephone calls efficiently. Additional duties include scheduling psychiatric appointments for clients and staff using the online database Credible, generating appointment checklists for the next day's appointments, and maintaining communication via daily updates to the Televox system for appointment reminders. The Receptionist also manages overnight messages, ensuring appropriate routing or callbacks, and maintains adequate departmental supplies, ordering more when necessary. They additionally handle Aldi vouchers, client checks, and bus tickets with care and accuracy. This administrative role requires an individual with strong customer service skills, excellent organizational capabilities, keen attention to detail, and a commitment to confidentiality in accordance with HIPAA regulations. Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook and the ability to work effectively as part of a team are essential. The ideal candidate will demonstrate the ability to manage time successfully and work non-judgmentally with individuals whose beliefs or behaviors may differ from societal norms or the candidate's personal views.
