We are currently seeking a receptionist to join our team at the Chapel of Chimes-Oakland location. This role is pivotal in ensuring smooth administrative operations and providing compassionate, timely support to client families throughout their experience. The receptionist will be the first point of contact for families and visitors, setting the tone for the care and professionalism NorthStar Memorial Group is known for. Responsibilities include handling incoming calls, greeting visitors, assisting with information requests, and facilitating communication among departments. This position requires a warm, patient demeanor and excellent communication skills to help families feel supported and understood. Candidates for this hourly role will receive compensation in the range of $21.00 to $22.00 per hour. The ideal receptionist will possess a high school diploma or equivalent, with at least six months of customer service or receptionist experience, and proficiency in basic computer skills including MS Word and Outlook. As the administrative backbone of the Chapel of Chimes-Oakland, the successful candidate will be adept at multitasking, managing phone inquiries, distributing mail, and directing visitors efficiently and courteously.
