Sunflower Creative Arts is currently seeking a Receptionist to join their team. This pivotal role serves as the first point of contact for families involved in all of their programs as well as prospective families interested in enrolling their children. The Receptionist will manage the reception space by maintaining a welcoming and secure environment, ensuring smooth communication between the organization and its community. This position requires excellent organizational skills, the ability to multitask efficiently, and a strong passion for working with children and adults alike. The Receptionist will be responsible for overseeing a wide range of administrative and customer support tasks with minimal supervision, making this a role ideal for someone who thrives in a dynamic, high-energy environment with a positive and can-do attitude.
Other responsibilities include managing confidential records and files, handling general inquiries via phone, email, and in-person, distributing mail and deliveries, and maintaining up-to-date parent contact information within the organization’s database. The Receptionist helps to uphold the secure entry and exit of students and visitors, requiring vigilance and attention to detail. As part of a collaborative team, the Receptionist plays an essential role in advancing the mission of Sunflower Creative Arts by fostering clear and accessible communication with parents and ensuring the smooth operation of the reception area. Employment is offered as a three-quarter time position, covering 48 weeks per year, with salary commensurate with experience.  - experience managing the main entrance to a workplace while simultaneously working in a busy office space and answering phones
 - stellar computer skills, including familiarity with Word, Excel, and Google Drive
