Northrop Grumman Aeronautics Systems (NGAS) is currently seeking qualified candidates for the roles of Level 2 Program Cost Schedule Control Analyst and Level 3 Principal Program Cost Schedule Control Analyst. These positions are located on-site in Palmdale, California, and require an active DoD Secret clearance at the start of employment. The selected candidates will join a diverse and skilled sector-level Homeroom team responsible for supporting a suite of programs, ensuring compliance with customer requirements related to Earned Value Management (EVM) and program execution processes. The roles focus on guiding programs through interpretation and execution of Operations IPT Earned Value compliance, providing training, and resolving execution issues. These analysts will leverage their expertise in production operations, cost management, and scheduling disciplines to lead process improvement initiatives and facilitate common approaches for cost and schedule management across various programs. They will actively participate in identifying risks, issues, and opportunities associated with operations, working closely with management to develop innovative and effective solutions that align with organizational objectives. The roles demand high levels of ingenuity, technical knowledge, and communication skills to articulate technical approaches and promote best practices within the organization. Ideal candidates for these positions should have a strong background in business management, cost management, production operations, and finance planning and analysis, supported by relevant degrees and experience. Familiarity with MS Office tools such as Excel, Word, and PowerPoint is essential, and experience with ERP systems like SAP and knowledge of Earned Value Management Systems (EVMS) is highly desirable.
